Is it just me, but when I watch the series online am I not seeing some of the parts like at 1:24 or is it something different from First Squad Moment of Truth?
as anime, it is terrible. plus those videos in every five minutes with some guy talking was sooooo stupid

If I’m not mistaken, this is footage from an actual music-video they released with this theme. The movie came later and was only barely based on this. :3
This came out a long time ago back in 2006 or 07 I believe. I saw it(I understand Russian, fluent). It was okay. Not a big fan of anime anymore though.

i just watched the movie first squad and it had virtually none of these scenes. why? is this a series of movies or is there actually a series called first squad and im missing something. i absolutely loved it but it feels so incomplete…

Yes, you are right about Google. There are no information about this movie but in Russian television already talked that there will be a continue and that will be two versions of this first movie on DVD – the one with documentary scenes and the second will be a full animated. And I also heard on TV that creators want to make four movies, so it will be a long work )))) But I also think that in the future will be the series because it is looks like there is something big missing in this movie )))
We can only hope you are right and there will be more episodes, but google doesn’t seem to be informed for anything like that =/ It’s so sad…

My impression was like I watched the whole compilation of anime series in one hour. I think that this movie was an introduction to us to show what will be in the first season. Even in first trailers were not said «Coming soon in theaters», only in the last trailer was «In theaters from 15th October».
The creators did this as a movie because fans already wanted to see anime «First Squad».
This is what I think but maybe I am wrong )))))
I will explain why I am thinking this way. When the movie starts we see an opening just like in anime series and then, like TwilightTriEdge said, were a lot of moments summarized and skipped. The movie also did not show more about characters, only Nadya that met Lyona (Leo) and that she was performing in circus with her parents.

Let me tell for all of you my opinion about this anime movie. First of all when I saw it, I was like «What, only an hour and no more?». We clearly saw at the end of a movie when Marat threw an axe to the Teutonic knight. We saw his face – it was Baron. So yes, this was not an end of a story. Why I am telling this? Here is my explanation. What I think that the creators did not wanted to make a movie because they wanted to make the whole series in two seasons.

That Baron Von dude escapes back into the world of the dead.
Story has not ended.
Are you guys sure there are gonna be more series? I mean the story ended, there doesn’t seem to be anything to continue the anime for. Besides it looked rather broken. Like there were a lot of moments summarized and skipped. Maybe they just made all the parts in one thing.
